This is a story that happened to me. You may ask yourself why I'm telling this story? First let me tell you a little bit about myself,
I have been breeding and showing German Shepherds for over 20 years, I do know a quality dog, so why did I buy this puppy? maybe it was the cute face she had when I got her, Did I do my homework on the breed? NO!!!! Am I embarrassed? YES!!! Did I spend good money for this dog? YES!!
I went to the breeder that I purchased Chenaynay from to ask if she would help me place her. She said she couldn't, but gave me differnet options. I could run an ad in the paper, cut her down, her hair might grow in. The last options I wouldn't even dream about was to breed her to a male that would improve her puppies looks!!! WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY!!! There is no help here.
Im telling my story so people will be aware. Just because the puppy has AKC papers does not mean the puppy is of quality. Please do your homework, Talk to breeders. Read the AKC standards for the breed. Go to Dog Shows. Find yourself a reputable breeder before purchasing your new puppy.
Chennanay went to a new home without her AKC papers and was spay. They love her dearly.
